Converting your Email to Text is easier than you think. Send your texts via email with popular applications such as: Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Zoho, and iCloud. The process is seamless, and gives you the convenience of using your current email provider with just a few minor adjustments.
You can keep track of your SMS conversations in individual email threads, and have the ability to reference past text conversations easily via email. Incoming texts will be converted to email, and your email replies will be converted back to text.
Sending an SMS via text is designed to feel natural. All you need to do is follow these two easy steps when composing your email:
Place the phone number that you want to contact followed by @transmitsms.com inside the “To” section of your new email. For example if the number is 98943, then you would place firstname.lastname@example.org.
Decide whether or not you want to override the caller ID.
- If you want to keep your original caller ID, leave the subject line blank.
- If you want to override it, type in your email as usual. When you press send, your client will receive an SMS version of the email. Any replies that happen to this message will be placed inside a conversation thread. This makes it easy for you to search for past conversations.
